Cress 'Greek' - Speedy Veg Seeds

Cress 'Greek' - Speedy Veg Seeds

A versatile salad item with a nice peppery flavour. Easy to grow indoors or outside.
Why buy salad leaves from the supermarket when you can grow them easily at home? And you can get up to 3 crops from a sowing! Ideal for garden or containers.

Sowing Information

Sow in trays or punnets of moist compost, or on a moist flannel/blotting paper, indoors at intervals throughout the year. Scatter the seed liberally but not too thickly on to the surface. Cover the tray with paper until the seedlings are 2.5cm (1") high. Cress is ready to cut when the stems are 5cm (2") high. Keep moist at all times.
Ready in just 6-8 days. This is the true cress, having a hotter taste than punnet bought "cress".

Sowing ➞ Cropping - 3-5 weeks.
