Courgette F1 'Tarmino' - Seeds

Courgette F1 'Tarmino' - Seeds

Extremely early with deep green, cylindrical fruits 15cm (6") or more in length. Recommended for deep freezing. Harvest June-October.

Tom says: A very early variety with good mildew resistance. Tarmino will allow you to keep picking a huge quantity of fruit throughout the summer. I like to pick them when they are small, slice in half and sauté in a little butter.

Growing Information

Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or one seed per 75mm (3") pot in a greenhouse at approximately 20-25°C (69-78°F) using a good quality compost (germination 5-8 days). Cover seeds with 19mm (¾") compost. Grow on, planting out when frost risk has passed 60cm (24") between plants each way. Can also be sown direct outside two seeds per station, thinning to strongest seedling. Grows best in rich, moisture retentive soil in a sunny position. Water and feed regularly. Sowing to Harvest: 10-14 weeks.
