Do not exclude light or allow to dry out (Germination 15-20 days). Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, spacing them out in trays 5cm (2") apart and grow on without check. Acclimatise gradually before planting out 30cm (12") apart in a sunny position after the danger of frost has passed.
